Welcome to AtoZ Learning Tree, a place for teachers and parents to find easy to use activities, lesson plans, teaching tips, crafts, party planning, free printables and ideas for making learning fun.
AtoZ Learning Tree has been created for teachers and parents by two experienced educators and moms.
Lisa Carey has worked in the field of education from the preschool to the college level, a perfect background for a mother of four who had one in a crib and one in college at the same time.
Lisa’s specialties include thematic and holiday preschool lesson plans for the “whole child” including reading, fine motor, gross motor, music and more. Expect plenty of successful parenting tips from potty training to teen parties from this experienced mom. Lisa’s expert time management and money saving skills are contagious too.
You can find Lisa on Twitter @gps4moms, @moneysvgparent and @atozlearning, and on Facebook at AtoZLearning Tree.
Angela La Fon has a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction but her most valuable asset is her passion for making learning fun.
Angela has enjoyed teaching at the preschool, elementary and middle school levels. She is often a guest teacher at art centers and children’s museums. You’ll find Angela’s expert knowledge of incorporating developmentally appropriate skills and concepts within her fun lesson plans, games, activities and crafts.
